If you purchased an iPhone 6s or 6s+ after 2018, a new Apple Repair Program may help you out!
iPhone 6s Power On Issue
Apple is claiming there is a faulty component in the iPhone 6s and 6s+ manufactured between October 2018 and August 2019 that can cause your phone to suddenly stop powering on all together. I’m certain I’ve seen this issue in my shop, but was not able to offer any help!
If it is determined your phone has the faulty part, simple head over the the Apple Store, or an authorized dealer. If you are out in the boonies, then you can ship it to Apple as well.
Get going on this though, depending on manufacturing data, you could be half way through the 2 years Apple is allowing you to take advantage of this repair offer.
To determine if your hardware is covered, and to start the repair process, go to their dedicated page here.
Don’t Fret
Apple produces MILLIONS of phones, and there is sure to be a mess up now and then… thankfully they are more inclined to step up to the plate and take care of it.
If you have other troubles with your iPhones, iPads or Mac products, be sure to give us a call!
